May 15, 2026"Feel free to disagree with me but I must say that the famous Nasi Goreng Kambing Kebon Sirih Jakarta is simply can't compete with this one. This place is a must go for me every time I visit Yogyakarta. The queue can be quite long especially during weekend but I guess it really worth the wait. With only IDR 14,000 (less than a dollar) you will get a full plate of fragrant fried rice with fried egg (usually overcooked) and generous amount of mutton chunks (beware: sometimes they could be hard to be chewed ) The fried rice is rich with curry spices and aroma, and you also get extra condiment which consist of a spoonful of pickles (made from cucumber, bird eye chili, and carrot), and few emping (crackers made from melinjo) You will enjoy the dish with other patrons by sitting on top of tikar (traditional carpet) covering surrounding sidewalk Just believe me and try it by yourself, you won't be disappointed"
